Bleeding Gums

Bleeding gums can be a sign that you are at risk of, or already have, gum disease. However it can also be an indication of poor brushing technique, a vitamin deficiency, ill fitting dentures, improper flossing or if you are pregnant can be a common occurrence without any other problem being present. It is important to follow the instructions we give you in order to maintain healthy gums including flossing teeth twice a day, gently brushing and 6 monthly visits to the dentist for plaque removal.
