Family Care

We specialise in providing comprehensive dental care specifically tailored for teenagers aged 13 to 18, covered under the health benefits scheme. We recognise the unique dental requirements and concerns of this age group, warranting our specialised focus and expertise. Additionally, we offer private treatment options for children under the age of 13.

Many teenagers require orthodontic treatment to correct misaligned teeth, overcrowding, or bite issues. Our dental team offers a range of orthodontic solutions, like clear aligners, to help teens achieve straighter, healthier smiles.

We believe in the importance of educating teenagers about proper oral hygiene practices. Our dental professionals take the time to demonstrate and explain the correct techniques for brushing, flossing, and maintaining optimal oral health. We also provide guidance on the effects of diet and lifestyle choices on dental health, empowering teens to make informed decisions.

Regular check-ups and cleanings are vital for maintaining healthy teeth and gums. We recommend biannual visits for cleanings, examinations, and early detection of any potential dental issues. Additionally, we may offer preventive treatments such as dental sealants and fluoride applications to protect vulnerable areas and prevent cavities.

As many teenagers actively participate in sports or physical activities, we understand the importance of protecting their teeth and jaws from potential injuries. We can provide customised mouth guards to ensure their teeth and mouth are safeguarded during sports activities.

We recognise that some teens may experience dental anxiety or fear. Our dental team is trained in managing anxiety and creating a comfortable environment for our young patients. We use gentle techniques and effective communication to help alleviate any fears and ensure a positive dental experience.

Accidents can happen, and dental emergencies may occur. We are prepared to handle and provide prompt care for issues such as toothaches, dental trauma, or other urgent dental needs that teenagers may encounter.
